TIRTEST: Hand operated fastener testers
Saturday 01 December 2007
The Roof Fastener tester are used to prove the holding capacity of hundreds types & sizes of fasteners in roofing, construction, commercial, industrial, and other applications.
Specifically engineered for pullout strength tests and nondestructive testing of welded, staked, threaded, epoxied and power-driven fasteners. An excellent tool for production sampling, quality control, on site testing and verifying results during research and development of new fastening techniques. A wide 210mm diameter frame is designed to accommodate lightweight fasteners up to 89mm diameter as well as the wide range of traditional fasteners used in the roofing industry.

Stentor chassis: increased productivity for repetitive tests
Friday 15 September 2006
Pneumatic gripping devices, normally activated by foot pedals, enable samples to be gripped rapidly and firmly. This type of gripper is a much-appreciated extra for Stentor testing systems, as it frees operators from having to carry out often fastidious, delicate and slow operations for positioning and holding their samples manually .
ANDILOG offers a simple efficient and easy-to-use system, which, when combined with a Stentor chassis and a Centor dynamometer, will considerably improve the efficiency of your force measurement system.

Centormeter: Control the torque on your power screwdrivers
Friday 15 September 2006
With the latest version of the Centormeter, you can now control the torque on power screwdrivers. This applies to electric, pneumatic and hydraulic screwdrivers, whose speed of rotation can be adjusted up to 3,000 RPM. The Centormeter traces a curve, which enables the increase in torque to be displayed instantaneously.
The range of sensors provides accurate measurement from 0-6 Nm up to 0-1400 Nm.
Each base unit is fitted with a main sensor and can be fitted with extra sensors, which are recognised automatically without any manual intervention.
Every Centormeter is delivered with its certificate.

RS232 acquisition on a laptop: use an RS232/USB adaptor
Friday 15 September 2006
A laptop computer can be used for recording values when measuring force with a dynamometer from the Centor range. However, certain new types of computer or lightweight portables do not have a RS232 port. Andilog offers an USB/RS232 adaptor to enable Centor units to communicate with these types of apparatus via an USB port. With this system, all the functions to be found on an RS232 output remain available. The adaptor is also compatible with RSIC acquisition software.

Measuring force on welding heads
Friday 15 September 2006
The quality of a spot weld depends on the force applied by the electrodes together with the value of the welding current. For control programs, measuring the force applied by the electrodes is extremely important for maintaining constant production conditions. This is why ANDILOG has developed an instrument for measuring the closing force on welding heads, which can be used either for setting up or for periodical maintenance.
The tips are exchangeable for measuring the force applied by different forms of electrodes; the lowest closing dimension is 3 mm. Different models are available for measuring 0-5 KN to 0-1.5 KN.
The new tool has all the ruggedness, quality and accuracy of the other tools in the CENTOR family, specially designed for taking “nomad” measurements in production shops.

DATASTICK: new SD card reader for force gauge
Wednesday 08 March 2006
The graphic digital force gauge CENTOR Star and DUAL from ANDILOG can now be provided with a SD card reader:the DATASTICK.
This new device can be used first to save the measured values, or the curves from the force gauge, All this datas will be read laeter in a PC to be traited. The number of values or curves stored on the card depends only of the size of the card: a small 16M card can save more than 200 curves!
In a second step ANDILOG provide for free a utility software to pre set the force gauge. All parameters can be pre defined like treasholds, calculations, RS 232 transmited datas, statistitcs parameters etc etc etc
When the card is inserted in the DATASTICK, the force gauge will read the new configuration, download it, and place him self in a new configuration without any action from the user.
The DATASTIK give your force gauge not only more power but also more flexibility!
Nota: The DATASTICK can be used with Centor Star, Centor Dual, Andidtork, Centormeter and Andidoor

ANDIDOOR I folowing the requirements of the EN 12453 &12445
Tuesday 21 February 2006
Conform to the new european norms, the ANDIDOOR I is measuring the closing force for automatics doors.
Light and compact, The instrument make automatic calculation for dynamic maximum, static maximum and ending force.
Thanks a very hight data acquisitio seep, the calculation results very accurate! The curve is ploted on the screen, the values are displayed at the end of the test as well as the statistics results on a batch of 3 measurments, up to 100 tests .
Provided in his carring box, The ANDIDOOR is a robust tool( plastic protection, sensor protection against overloads) usefull for validations , installation or maintenance of motorised doors in situ.

CENTOR STAR: up to 100 datas or calculations in memory
Tuesday 21 February 2006
The Centor STAR force gauge now provides the option to save in its memory up to 2 sets of 100 datasets. It can also perform several statistical calculations.
The operator can see in the screen the measured value, how many samples
have been tested and the mean of the batch, as well as the curve!
Press the key, and browse the data, then you can export it to your PC
via the RS232 port.
