The Centor Star Touch universal display is ideal if you want to have one display with many force and torque sensors. Using the SPIP technology, the Centor Star Touch automatically recognizes the sensor plugged and integrates sensor parameters: force or torque, calibration, serial number. The sensors are calibrated and programmed separately from the display.

Designed for industrial environments, it provides high performance but also ease of use thanks to its large color touch screen. The icons guide the user through the configuration of the gauge and the menus are available in several languages. For better integration into the manufacturing process and communication with other devices, the Centor Star Touch is equipped with fast TTL outputs and inputs for communication with an automat for example.

All the features, flexibility and ergonomics of the Centor Star Touch make it the ideal solution for easy and advanced force and torque testing in the industry or laboratory.

Option: Read two sensors in the same time
If you need to read two sensors in the same time, for example two force sensors or force and torque or torque and angle..., the Centor Dual Touch is the gauge for you. Using the same features as the Star version, the Dual version reads two sensors and can send synchronized values to a computer. It can work with force, torque, angle and linear displacement sensors.

Input/Output

• New! Bluetooth  - With the Bluetooth module (sold separately), you can remove the connection cable between the computer and the gauge.
• USB data recorder With the USB Datastick II (sold separately), you can now save all your measurements and graph directly to a USB memory without connecting to a computer.
• RS232 and USB 2 modes of operation
  • Continuous : sending data continuously at an adjustable speed up to 100Hz or
  • On demand: data transmission request from a computer to retrieve the device memory or tare.
• Analog sending data continuously at 100 Hz with a voltage of +/- 1.25V.
• TTL Interfaces your gauge with a PLC - The Centor Touch Dual model can easily be integrated to an industrial assembly line thanks to its programmable TTL 6 outputs and 2 inputs. Industrial robots are controlled by automate using triggers signals which can be generated through the digital ports of the Centor Touch Dual.

SPIP Technology

The SPIP Technology enables to store in the sensor its calibration and recognition settings. Equipped with SPIP, the force and torque sensors can be read directly by the Centor Star Touch gauges. Therefore you can increase your measuring range or your inventory of instruments cost effectively in buying just the force or torque sensor you need. You can have a force gauge and a torque gauge with just one unique display.
